NJ Animal Chiro: Helping Your Animals Feel and Perform Their Best.

Animal Chiropractic Care Toms River NJ

The NJ Animal Chiro was established by animal lover Dr. Siobhan Pakenham.

Dr. Pakenham graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2006. After completing her education, she returned to her home state of New Jersey, where she has been in private practice serving the Ocean County community ever since.

A lifelong animal lover, Dr. Pakenham chose to combine her passion for chiropractic care with her love of animals in 2022. She enrolled in Parker University’s Animal Chiropractic program in Dallas, Texas—a rigorous course requiring over 200 hours of training completed within just five months. Throughout this intensive program, she continued managing her private practice at Atlantic Wellness and Spine Center, balancing both human and animal care with dedication.

Having witnessed the transformative benefits of chiropractic care for her human patients over the years, Dr. Pakenham is now thrilled to extend those same healing benefits to both large and small animals. She looks forward to helping as many animals as possible in collaboration with their veterinarians or rescue organizations.

Animal Chiropractic Considerations

  • Athletic animals perform better when they’re well aligned so adjustments several days prior to competitions help your athlete be at their peak performance.
  • Injured animals may require more care initially.
  • Each animal’s needs are different so history and exam will lead to a recommended chiropractic care schedule.
  • Congenital malformations and degenerative conditions may cause chronic lameness and the need for more frequent chiropractic adjustments.
